Apple HomeView India price

Apple has entered the smart home display market with HomeView, a ₹39,900 device that uses its upgraded Siri AI to run calendars, recipes and connected gadgets. Around it, other brands are adding AI to fridges, washing machines, air conditioners and robot vacuums.

This guide covers HomeView and four other AI home gadgets on sale in India, with launch prices and what each one claims to do. Prices are launch or starting prices and can change.

What Apple has launched

Apple unveiled HomeView at its “Welcome Home” event on October 13, 2026. It is a smart display with a 7-inch Liquid Retina screen, and it comes in two versions: a tabletop model with a speaker base and a wall-mounted model.

Key details, as reported by Smartprix, 91mobiles and Tom’s Guide:

  • Price: ₹39,900 in India and $299 in the US, for both versions. Wall mounts cost extra, starting at ₹6,900 in India.
  • Pre-orders: Opened on October 13. Sales start on November 13 in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore and South Africa, according to Digitimes.
  • Siri AI: Apple says it handles longer questions and uses personal context, such as recipes sent in messages or emails, and calendar tasks.
  • Profiles: It can set up individual home screens for up to six people.
  • Uses: FaceTime calls, music, cooking steps and timers, and controlling compatible smart home devices. It can show up to nine security camera feeds at once, as Fox News reports.
  • No App Store: Tom’s Guide notes that HomeView launches without access to the App Store.

Is HomeView aimed at Samsung?

The reports we checked describe HomeView as a rival to Amazon’s Echo Show and Google’s Nest Hub. 91mobiles points out that it costs well above Amazon’s Echo Show displays, which dominate this category in India.

Samsung’s approach is different. It puts the screen in the appliance, as with its Family Hub fridge below. So the two are better described as competing visions of the smart home than head-to-head products.

Four other AI gadgets in India

Samsung Family Hub refrigerator (₹4,00,690)

Samsung launched its 2026 Bespoke AI range in India on September 16 in Gurugram. The Family Hub fridge has a 32-inch touchscreen and a downward-facing camera. With Google’s Gemini model, the camera can recognise food on the shelves and keep a running list. It also has a “video-to-recipe” tool that suggests meals from what is inside. Samsung’s previous system recognised only about 37 food items.

It is a premium product. Reports note that it is aimed at buyers who already use Samsung’s SmartThings system.

LG AI DD washing machines (from ₹62,900 to ₹1,39,990)

LG’s AI DD 2.0 system senses the weight, fabric type and dirt level of a load, then picks a wash pattern from 20,000 combinations. LG launched the range in December 2025, with front-load models priced from ₹69,990 to ₹1,39,990, according to Business Today. In 2026, LG’s VX front-load series starts at ₹62,900, per Smartprix. Top-load AI DD models cost less.

Haier Desert Rose air conditioner (from ₹55,990)

Haier’s Desert Rose range, launched in India in April 2026, uses AI to adjust cooling. Its “AI Target Cooling” directs airflow towards people, and a geofence feature can start cooling before you get home. A human-detection mode lowers cooling after 15 minutes without anyone in the room, and switches off after 30, according to Fone Arena. Haier lists the starting price at ₹55,990.

Dreame X60 Ultra Complete robot vacuum (₹1,34,999)

Dreame launched this model in India in September. It is 7.95 cm tall, which helps it fit under furniture, and it has two AI cameras that Dreame says can recognise more than 280 types of objects. It has 35,000 Pa of suction and a mop that cleans itself at 100°C. The company gives a one-year warranty.

What to check before you buy

  • Budget. Each of these costs from about ₹40,000 to over ₹4 lakh. Ask whether you need the AI features or just the base appliance.
  • Privacy. HomeView uses facial recognition to tell family members apart, and several of these devices have cameras. Fox News raises the question of how comfortable people should be giving an AI assistant access to personal information and home security cameras. Read each company’s data settings.
  • Ecosystem. Many of these work best with the same brand’s other products. HomeView works with Apple’s Home system, and Samsung’s fridge works best with SmartThings.
  • Support. Look at warranty and service coverage in your city, especially for expensive appliances.

Why it matters

Smart home features are moving from phones and speakers into everyday appliances. Companies are betting that AI that can recognise food, fabric and people will make chores simpler. Whether buyers pay premium prices for that is still to be seen.

What to watch next

HomeView goes on sale on November 13, and reviews should appear around then. These will show how well the new Siri AI works in daily use. We will update this article as reviews and any price changes come in.
